FOUNDER & MANAGING MEMBER

Mr. Sosa is an experienced real estate investor with extensive experience in commercial banking, private equity, private credit and investment banking. He began his career as an M&A Analyst at Popular Inc., and later as a Private Equity Associate at Advent-Morro Equity Partner, Puerto Rico’s leading private equity investment firm.

Most recently, he was an Associate at J.P. Morgan’s Real Estate Investment Banking group in New York. Prior to that, he was the Structured Finance Officer at Acrecent Financial Corp., a San Juan-based private credit shop. Mr. Sosa has a BA in Finance from Georgetown University, a JD from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law and an MBA from New York University.

MANAGING MEMBER

Mr. Vazquez has over 10 years of experience in the finance sector. He has held various positions in private credit and private equity in firms such as Acrecent Financial Corporation (private credit shop and private credit fund), Advent Morro Equity Partners (PE fund), GLJ Capital Management LLC (a PE and credit fund).

He spent over 5 years at Acrecent occupying the roles of Structured Credit Specialist and Structured Finance Officer where he worked on closing numerous credit deals, including several commercial real estate financings, in Puerto Rico as well as managing two credit funds under the Puerto Rico Private Equity Funds Act tax benefits. At Acrecent, he also spearheaded the capital markets as well the syndications team. In his time at GLJ Capital Management, Mr. Vazquez underwrote various equity and credit transactions within the mainland US ranging sizes from $10mm-$25mm per transaction. Mr. Vazquez also hold his series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor Law license.

ADVISOR

José, known to all as ”Peco”, is a seasoned hospitality professional with almost 30 years of experience in both the public and private tourism and hospitality fields. Prior to founding BluHost, Peco led Puerto Rico’s largest hotel management company, International Hospitality Enterprises (IHE) for the last 14 years where he grew revenues in excess of $200 million, managed 6 hotels and 2 casinos and had more than 2,200 employees. He oversaw the development of 3 hotels during that period, including the famed La Concha Resort and the ultra luxury Condado Vanderbilt.

He served as Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company from 2002-2004 and is currently the Chairman of the Board of Discover Puerto Rico, the island’s destination marketing organization.

Peco holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Dayton and a Masters Degree from the prestigious Cornell University – School of Hotel Administration.

As an innovative leader and Chief Executive Officer of Premier Insurance Group, Antonio has focused on achieving exceptional results in a highly competitive environment. His professional career spans over 35 years in the insurance industry in Puerto Rico, including his leadership roles in successful companies such as Universal Insurance Company, Optima Insurance Company, and QBE Insurance Group.

Antonio holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Insurance and a Diploma in Risk and Insurance from the College of Insurance (now known as St. John's University) in New York. He completed his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting at the Universidad Católica de Ponce.

Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Optima Insurance Group. Among his new projects is the presidency of the Premier Foundation, contributing to Puerto Rican society.
